Posting Rules
Last Updated: May 2026
These rules apply to every listing on BoardDee. Listings that break them may be hidden or removed by our moderators. Read the Terms of Service for the full set of platform rules and the prohibited-listings categories.
1. One item per listing
- Each listing must describe one specific item, service, property, or job.
- If you have multiple distinct items ("two phones, both available"), post each one as a separate listing.
- General-stock listings such as "various models available" or "any laptop" are removed.
- Photos must show only the specific item described — not a row of similar items.
2. Correct category and factual title
- Pick the most specific subcategory that matches your item or service.
- Title should state what the listing is — brand, model, key spec — without exaggeration.
- No all-caps ("FOR SALE NOW"), no clickbait ("must see", "unbelievable price"), no extra exclamation marks or symbols (★, 🔥) used to draw attention.
- Do not put marketing taglines, shop names, or unrelated keywords in the title.
3. Accurate price
- The listed price must be the final price including any required extras.
- If the price is for a starting configuration, say so and disclose the full range in the description.
- Rentals must list the period (per day, per month) and the minimum term if any.
- Do not advertise an unrealistically low price to attract clicks ("phone for 1 baht — call for details"). Listings whose price doesn't match the description are removed.
4. Description and photos
- Describe condition, defects, size, model, location, and what's included or excluded.
- Photos must be real photos of the actual item or property, not stock images or catalog renders.
- Do not use unrelated images, collages of multiple items, watermarks, QR codes, business logos, or contact details burned into the image.
- For vehicles and real estate, photograph the actual unit, including any damage. Hiding defects in photos is grounds for removal.
5. Contact information
- Do not put phone numbers, email addresses, social handles, or external links in the title or description.
- BoardDee already exposes your verified phone (and any other channels you configured in your profile) through a dedicated Contact button on every listing — buyers click to reveal the details. That click step is what protects you from automated scraping, so contacts in the description are unnecessary and not allowed.
- Listings whose only purpose is to redirect users to a different site or chat are removed.
6. Duplicates and spam
- No duplicate or near-duplicate listings — repeating the same listing in multiple categories or with minor wording changes is removed.
- No information-harvesting listings ("register to see the price", fake forms or surveys).
- No listings whose actual purpose is to advertise an unrelated business or to scrape user contact data.
- Repeated rule-breaking after warnings can result in account suspension.
7. Business users
- If you post on behalf of a business or shop, identify yourself accurately. Do not pose as a private seller.
- For services that require a Thai licence (real-estate brokerage, financial advice, medical, legal, etc.), include the licence number when relevant.
- A business posting many listings must still follow the one-item-per-listing and accurate-pricing rules. Listing the same model under each subtype with copy-paste descriptions counts as duplicates.
8. Prohibited categories
Some categories are prohibited entirely on BoardDee. The Terms of Service has the full list, but the headline categories are:
- Illegal, stolen, counterfeit, pirated, unsafe, recalled, or restricted goods
- Weapons, ammunition, explosives
- Drugs, controlled substances, prescription medicines without authorization
- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping products, age-restricted goods (where Thai law restricts online sale)
- Hazardous chemicals, poisons, dangerous materials
- Adult sexual services and sexual exploitation
- Gambling, betting, lottery, casino services
- Pyramid schemes, MLM recruitment, online income or investment scams
- Fake documents, fraud tools, accounts, SIM cards registered to another person
- Restricted wildlife and animal products
- Regulated services without the required licences
- IP-infringing goods and services
